We hosted our first Colorado ATTM CWA Strong/ Brigade/ Unity@Mobility Blitz in mid April.
Participants consisted of CWA Strong/Unity@Mobility Stewards Brock Smith (Local 7708), Mike Fortunato (Local 7708), Evan Schultz (7750), Cecilia Munoz (Local 7750) Wireless Brigade Members Raulis Petronis (Local 7803), Carissa Hahn (Local 37083), Erma Keller (Local 7750), Local Officer Mair Vautrin (Local 7750), District 7 Staff, Jana Smith-Carr (D7 OC) Katie Romich (D7 Staff Representative, Ted Hooker (D7 OC) and Enida Shuku (Campaign Lead).
Over the course of three days, 14 blitz teams visited 36 AT&T Mobility stores represented by CWA Locals 7708, 7750, and 7777 to sign up new members and to encourage their coworkers to get involved in their union
The teams overall had 110 conversations, signed 31 new members, 18 PAF contributors, identified 27 potential stewards, 23 Wireless Leads and signed 53 NextGen cards.
We moved membership in the retail stores that were visited by, Local 7777 from 58% to 68%, Local 7750 from 68% to 73%, 7708 from 62% to 83%.
